1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Spatial Mailbox, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Description of Service

Spatial Mailbox is a virtual reality letter-writing experience that allows users to send and receive letters in VR. The service includes:

• VR letter writing and reading interface
• Letter delivery between users
• In-app announcements and service messages from Studio Syro
• Optional add-on packs and other in-app purchases
• Notifications and optional email updates
• Account management portal and companion web and mobile experiences

3. User Accounts

To use Spatial Mailbox, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Provide accurate information
• Keep your password secure
• Not share your account with others
• Notify us of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Send harassing, abusive, or threatening content
• Share illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Impersonate others or create fake accounts
• Spam or send unsolicited messages
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or abuse the service
• Violate any laws or regulations

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the letters you write. By using the service, you grant us a license to:

• Store and deliver your letters
• Display your letters to intended recipients
• Back up your data for service reliability

6. Moderation

We reserve the right to:

• Review content for Terms of Service violations
• Remove inappropriate content
• Suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms
• Report illegal activity to authorities

7. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

• Perform maintenance and updates
• Experience temporary outages
• Modify or discontinue features

8. Termination

You may request account deletion through the account portal. This currently removes account access and certain linked account records, but some in-experience data may remain while our deletion workflow is being expanded. We may terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Remain inactive for extended periods
• Pose security or legal risks

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Spatial Mailbox is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee:

• Error-free operation
• Compatibility with all devices
• Specific results or outcomes

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

• Lost data or content
• Service interruptions
• Indirect or consequential damages
• Actions of other users

11. Purchases and Add-On Packs

Spatial Mailbox may offer optional add-on packs and other virtual items for purchase. Purchases made on Meta Quest are processed by Meta and are subject to Meta's payment terms and refund policies, in addition to these Terms. Virtual items and add-on content are licensed to you for use within the service, not sold, and have no monetary value outside the service. Except where required by applicable law or Meta's policies, all sales are final. We may add, change, or discontinue packs, items, prices, or features at any time.

12. Service Communications

We may send you letters, notifications, and in-app announcements about your account, new features, content and pack releases, and updates to the service. Some of these communications are part of the service and are provided while you use it; you can manage optional notifications and marketing email preferences in your account settings. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle related data.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service, our practices, or legal requirements. We will post the updated terms with a new "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, and we may ask you to review and accept them before you continue.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute related to these terms or the service will be handled by a court with proper jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
